Brushed Silk is used as diffusion filter, i.e. it is softening the contour of the light beam and making the light spot maximum uniform, homogeneous. This is achieved by the modification of light characteristics and elimination of unwanted glare.
It is used to create a soft, diffused light flux on the illuminated object. Used for directional control.
